Every program we launch delivers tangible results: families keep their companions during medical crises, rescues receive the supplies they need to save more animals, seniors find joy in adopting senior pets with support, and children with diverse needs gain access to service animals and therapeutic programs. By closing systemic gaps and providing hands-on assistance, we transform moments of crisis into opportunities for stability, healing, and hope. For the Young at Heart
The Jax & Bash Foundation works to help older adults keep their beloved pets by their side during times of change or challenge. Through our community partners and volunteers, we aim to connect seniors with temporary assistance such as dog walking, essential pet food and supplies, or short-term foster care when needed. We also offer free pet legacy planning through our Legacy & Lifeline Program, helping owners create written care directives that ensure their pets’ well-being in the event of illness, aging, or unforeseen circumstances. When a pet’s long-term care needs to be transferred, our Promise Project helps match animals with loving foster or adoptive homes to carry out those plans with compassion. Services are offered as resources allow and may vary by location and availability. While we can’t guarantee support in every situation, our goal is always the same — to help preserve the comfort and companionship that pets bring to their people.
Veteran Services
Many veterans face challenges providing consistent care for their beloved pets while navigating medical, financial, or housing transitions. The Jax & Bash Foundation has partnerships and community resources to help ease that burden- connecting veterans with programs, supplies, and local support so they their companions can stay together whenever possible.
Supporting Rescue Animals
We partner with rescues and shelters to strengthen the care network for animals already in need- providing resources, exposure, and community support. Beyond the hands on we work to address the systemic issues that contribute to overcrowding and surrender, helping more animals stay safe and supported for the long term.
Therapeutic Riding
Through guided horseback riding, individuals gain balance, coordination, and emotional well-being in a calm, supportive environment.
