The Jax & Bash Foundation for Pets and Their People began with love and a vision for impact. We believe the human animal bond holds the power to change lives not just through comfort and companionship, but through action. Every program we lead helps bridge gaps, ease hardship, and creates lasting change that spreads throughout our entire community.
Our foundation is 100% volunteer-run, made up of real people with big hearts rescuers, business owners, students, veterinarians, and compassionate community members who share one thing in common: we show up. Every person involved with JBF believes deeply in protecting that bond between pets and their people, and in making sure that when life gets hard, help is within reach.
Through our growing network of programs and partnerships, we provide real, hands-on support — from direct aid and community outreach to educational initiatives and therapeutic programs that strengthen both pets and the people who love them. Every effort is rooted in compassion and driven by our belief that small acts of kindness can create powerful ripple effects of hope and healing.

And at the heart of JBF are Jax and Bash, two loyal rescue dogs whose love and impact inspired a movement dedicated to making sure every pet and every person knows what it feels like to be safe, loved, and empowered to make a difference.

The Jax & Bash Foundation builds real-world solutions that keep pets and their people together — through hardship, healing, and hope. From emergency veterinary funding and temporary foster care to service-dog training, senior pet adoptions, and outreach to rescues and therapeutic riding centers, our programs fill the gaps when families face crisis. We invest in what matters most — helping a sick owner keep their companion close, giving an elderly pet a second chance, ensuring no one loses their best friend simply because life got hard, and empowering pet owners to plan for their pets’ futures through thoughtful legacy and continuity care. Every initiative we fund, every problem we solve, and every partnership we form moves us closer to a world where love, loyalty, and companionship are never out of reach.
